Examination will be held on May 1st and May 8th 2026
Reminder that the exam will always be the first Friday of May for the primary date and second Friday of May for the backup date each year
The exam will be open from 9AM - 3PM Eastern time and is 3 hours in duration.
Each program should ensure proper supervision. Typically the program administrator for the site will proctor the examination.
The exam can be accessed through the students laptops or a computer lab as long as they meet the browser requirements found here

General Information
The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) supports an annual in-service examination for Canadian plastic surgery residents in their second to fourth years (R2-R4). This exam is designed to assess residents' knowledge and readiness for the Royal College examinations.
Eligibility: Open to R2-R4 residents enrolled in accredited Canadian plastic surgery residency programs. The exam is not available to international programs or other students.
Exam Date: The examination is scheduled for the first Friday of May, with a backup date on the following Friday.
Registration: Pre-registration is required through the registration portal by your program administrators
